With the aim of designing furniture defined by sculptural, holistic structures, Eero Saarinen produced the Tulip Side Table as part of his iconic pedestal collection (1956). Crafted of a heavy aluminum base that has been cast into a slender and fluid span, the table is topped with beautiful white and gray Arabescato marble. Both the base and tabletop are treated with a clear protective finish to resist scratches, stains and scuffs.
