    A tour-de-force of design when it was introduced in the late 1950s with a patented technology for applying the fabric to this incredibly sculptural piece, the Egg Chair has been celebrated in museum collections for over 40 years. It features a base of satin-chromed steel with a swivel mechanism and is fully upholstered. This piece takes on a heightened aesthetic in any environment and literally "frames" anybody who sits in it. A fabulous piece that will bring years of joy to anyone who owns it.

    The Egg Chair is now available directly through Fritz Hansen in the original exquisite Hereford leathers all of which are hand-stitched when upholstering the chair.
